Come As You Are!
Who Are We? What is our Mission? (Grades 9-12) This program is designed for high school teens, grades 9-12. Teen Faith promotes spiritual and social growth by meeting in Christian fellowship and providing spiritual sharing, service projects and social activities. We aim to discover how to accept God’s love and learn to love him back. We look for Jesus in the face of others.
We feel: The Mass never ends. It must be lived. We shall go forth to love and serve the Lord with all our hearts and minds.
What Do We Do?
We are active in all aspects of our church community. We help teach Religious Ed., we lector, we are in the band, and we usher. Outside of the church we compete in a One Act Play through the diocese. We go to a soup kitchen or homeless shelter to serve the poor every month. We have Bible Studies. We have a winter ski trip. We have a Fall & Spring Retreat. We go to Mount 2000 Retreat. We also go on a week long mission trip every summer!
When Do We Meet?
We attend the 5:30pm Mass together on Sundays. We sit together in the four front left rows. Youth Group meets every Sunday from 6-8pm, right after the 5:30pm Mass. Youth Group is an opportunity for fellowship, fun, prayer, worship, and growth. Youth Group is open to ALL high school students! Friends, regardless of denomination, are always welcome.
