Welcome to the Parish Library
We are located in the Parish Education Center.
We are pleased that you are visiting our library! We hope you will find inspiration, blessing, and wisdom amongst these pages. Please browse at length, please take any of our selections home for further reading, we trust you find items for your spiritual journey.
The St. Francis de Sales Library strives to provide both religious information and spiritual inspiration to our faith community.
We have about 1800 (and growing) items including adult, child, youth and teen books. Our collection includes children’s books, DVDs and CDs (both music and audio books).
The library is open any time the Parish Education Center is open. We use a self-checkout, honor system
1) Note your name, contact info, the book(s) you’ve selected, and the date you are checking them out into our notebook on the desk. Each book should have its own line, but not need to re-copy your contact info.
2) Take a complimentary bookmark and note on it the date three weeks from today, and place the bookmark in each of your selections as a reminder to yourself.
3) Upon return, place the books in the basket. Please DO NOT reshelve them. Mark the date of return in the notebook.
Search the online catalog – a great place to explore the many books, DVD’s and CD’s prior to visiting the library. Books are categorized according to subject. Click on the link to see our titles.
Children’s books – These books may be borrowed without filling out a checkout card: just grab and go (and return).
Donations – We gladly accept donations of religious books, DVDs or CDs that are in good condition. Contact Janice Rees firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to donate books. Please do not leave them in the library. We review donations to decide which materials we can use in our collection. Any donated items that we cannot use will be donated.
