Oktoberfest Volunteer Opportunities

Promote Oktoberfest after Masses, by selling 50/50 Cash Raffle tickets, sign-up Cornhole Tournament teams, sign-up Pie & Cake Silent Auction bakers, and most importantly to continue getting Silent Auction donations! We will have information for you to use to let everyone know what is going on with Oktoberfest and how they can participate. Anyone 17 and older can volunteer, no experience necessary. SIGNUP HERE

We are decorating the Lady of Victory Hall on Friday, October 13 for this festive event. Please join us if you like setting tables and putting up wall decor. SIGNUP HERE

We are searching for friendly folks to greet parishioners and handle cash, checks and credit cards for charging folks both manually and using a Square device.
Greeters do not need to handle money but can if they are trained. If you are just wanting to greet, you can be as young as 14.
Training will be given on the use of the Square device to all cashiers. Training times TBD the week prior to the event on 10/14.  You must be 17 and older to be a cashier. SIGNUP HERE


We are looking for helping hands on Friday, October 13th to help set up outside tables, straw bales, fencing, decorating etc. for the next day’s festivities.  We are also looking for more helping hands for Saturday to help with the last minute set up and cleanup. SIGNUP HERE

We are looking for volunteers to help direct parking. No prior experience required, just your desire to have fun while welcoming parishioners and guests and directing them where to park. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your shift. Due to the nature of this activity we ask that volunteers be at least 14 years old. SIGNUP HERE

Basic first aid, vital sign check if needed, and professional assessment to determine need for additional medical care is required for this position. SIGNUP HERE

Volunteers will help Oktoberfest guests with on-line bidding for the Silent Auction.  Bidders will be using their smartphones to bid on items. QR Codes will be available to help.  You do not need to be totally tech savvy to help others begin and have fun! SIGNUP HERE

Volunteers will take a Polaroid picture of contestants dressed up for the contest. SIGNUP HERE

Take tickets with a smile! Serve up beer & cider from some of THE BEST breweries, vineyards and cideries in our county. Enjoy the OOmpah music from the 16-piece German band and the friendly faces of fellow parishioners. Set up includes arranging supplies for the bar while clean up entails helping our crew pack everything up until next year. SIGNUP HERE

Come volunteer at the Kid Zone! At the Kid Zone, all activities are self-guided and require your attention as needed. Help keep game areas tidy, answer questions but most of all enjoy the festivities! Set up includes getting games ready for play and clean up will be helping the crew pack up games until next year, disassembling fall photo booth and moving tables back into the RE building.
