Consecration to St. Joseph

Message from Father Gould …
Many months ago the Holy Father called for a year dedicated to St. Joseph. In that time many programs have been initiated for a call to consecration to St. Joseph. The most notable book was authored by Fr. Donald H. Calloway, “Consecration to St. Joseph; The Wonders of Our Spiritual Father.” The book involves a thirty-three-day formation program in the consecration to St. Joseph.
What caught my eye on this book was found in the example of the folks from our 6:30 AM morning Mass crowd. They were offering it each morning before Mass. They all spoke very well of the book.
And now, thinking completely outside the box, we now offer the formation to the parish in a different format. Instead of a morning program we will work with a 7:00 PM gathering in the chapel for those who would like to attend in person and with the use of Zoom for those who cannot join us. In both scenarios those in attendance/observing from the internet can offer their own insights. The first gathering will take place on Monday November 8th in the church chapel and is open to everyone, in person or by ZOOM. The consecration program will continue each night until Friday December 10th.
There are three exceptions to our meeting times.
1.     On Wednesday nights we will meet in Classroom 107 at 6:00 PM since the chapel will be occupied by those interested in the Charismatic Group and that is the night dedicated to the Novena to the Miraculous Medal at 7:00 PM, followed by confessions at 8:00 PM
2.     The final four days of the Novena will take place at 6:00 PM each night because it will be the first week of Advent where we will have Confessions each night at 7:00 PM. Confessions will be offered each night at 7:00 during the Advent weeknights.
To order your book on the Consecration to St. Joseph by Father Calloway you can find it at Amazon.com. The cost of the book is $13.95.
Please send me your e-mail address if you would like to be invited to the Zoom program. You can send it to me at [email protected].

Again, thinking outside the box. If interested in St. Joseph I encourage you to review the writings of Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich and her visions of the Life of Christ pertaining to St. Joseph. She was a nineteenth century religious from Germany who spoke of her visions with the life of Mary. I have been told her visions have been popular with one of the rabbinic schools, training rabbis because her visions are considered quite accurate. The download for Life of Mary, found below, is free. You can also use the download for the Passion of Christ. To attain the full collection of her visions you should go to Amazon and buy the four set volume or the pdf file. Good hunting .
Please down the PDF file and do a Word Search for “Joseph.”
