Mother Teresa’s Garden
St. Francis de Sales is blessed with heavenly land that can be tilled, sowed, and harvested. With enough volunteers, we could produce a large bounty of food for those who are in need. Come work with your hands in God’s soil and not only feed the hungry, but also feed your soul.
There is no minimum or maximum amount of hours. Just sign up for a project, and come at the time you find that best fits your family’s schedule.
Do you have a black thumb? No problem, expert gardeners will provide some educational topics throughout the season to learn how to grow a garden of your own. Share your time with them in the garden and they can share their knowledge with you.
Class Schedule Coming Soon…
Please email Jaclyn.Jenkins@onedayfarm.com if you are interested in learning more about how to get involved.
Make us worthy, Lord, to serve those people throughout the world who live & die in poverty and hunger. Give them through our hands, this day, their daily bread, and by our understanding love, give them peace and joy. Amen. ~Mother Teresa
God, through the intercession of St. Isidore, the holy Farmer, grant that we may overcome all feelings of pride. May we always serve You with that humility which pleases You, through his merits and example.
Thank you God we pray to you, please bless this food our farmers grew.
Your sun will rise and rain will fall, so our crops grow nice and tall.
Please fill our hearts with all your love, and lead this flock from up above.
Amen. ~

What a transformation! Thank you to those who came out last week to clean up Mother Teresa’s Garden. You all are an amazing team.
We still need help! Our temporary fence is no match to Dan (the deer) & Phil (the groundhog). Are there any parishioners who have fencing experience that can help get this garden safe from feeding the four legged so we can feed the two legged? Please let us know ASAP. Our prayers are calling you!
