The Mystery of God

September 27 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am EDT

Atheism is on the rise. How can we turn the tide of secularism and draw people back to God? Skeptical thinkers vigorously attack belief in God as irrational or, even worse, dangerous. The so-called New Atheism has attracted millions of young people. For many Catholics, this is heartbreaking to witness. Bishop Barron has given us a study, written together with Trent Horn, to draw us closer to God and to encourage millions of skeptical thinkers to turn back to God and back to the Catholic faith. You are invited to join this study if you have a desire to strengthen your own faith or want to find answers and hope for loved ones who have left the church and no longer believe in God. This study will be helpful to anyone whose faith is under attack and feel themselves being led into the secular worldview of hopelessness. Join us and be encouraged by others who are also hoping to understand and defend who God is and why He matters. The study guide will provide detailed commentary on a 20 min film viewed during each class as well as references to Scripture, and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. This is a 7-week study meeting on Friday mornings from 10-11:30 beginning on September 20.

Please contact Jeanne at [email protected] to register and for information to purchase the study guide we will be using.
